The explorer of Windows has many options which allow to improve navigation in files or else to show / abolish information in the screen. |
To achieve options of the explorer, go to ' my Documents ' for example. Click then on 'Tools ' then 'Options of files'. Otherwise go to Starting / Control panel. Click on 'Toppling over towards display classical' if you are under Windows XP. Double-click then 'Options of files'.
In the 'General ' thumb-index, it is possible to change some properties as to choose a classical display of files, open a new window for every file, to use a simple click to draw up a file...
In the thumb-index 'Display ', it is possible to change some options of the explorer as:
- 'Show the legend of files and of elements of the Office'.
- 'Show the complete way in the title bar'.
- 'Show the complete way in the bar of addresses'.
It is possible to see the contents of the computer in form of a tree-like aspect. For it, made a right click on the hard disk (general exploration) or on a definite file (definite exploration) and click on 'Explorer '.
All habitual actions work on tree-like aspect (reappoint, copy, abolish).
