CDEX is a free software which allows to convert musics fast and easily from a format to other one. Musics can be extracted from a CD or from a computer directly. |

First of all, it is necessary to download
CDEX if to have it to you not.
Click here:

Throw
CDEX (Start All Programmes / /
CDEX /
CDex).
Go to 'Options / Shape' or click on the button ' Setup ' down right.
In the thumb-index 'Names of files', it is necessary to point out in 'recorded Tracks' where will be converted musics.
Then, in the thumb-index 'Encoder ', it is necessary to choose a 'compression Algorithm' in the list, that is to say the format of exit of musics (mp3,
wav,
wma,
ogg). Change then some options as the
bitrate (quality of musics), the type of encoding (high quality, in flight)...

Convert musics from an audio CD |
Insert your CD in the reader.
CDEX shows the contents of the CD.
Choose the tracks which you want to convert.
Then click on 'Conversion ' then 'Extract the tracks of the CD in files WAV' or'... MP3'. Otherwise use buttons to the right to accomplish the same operation.
Conversion begins.

Convert musics which are already on the computer |
Go to 'Conversion ' then click on '
WAV->
MPEG' or '
MPEG->
WAV' to convert format
wav to format mp3 or vice versa. You can also use buttons on right.
A new window is displayed. Choose the file in which is musics to be converted with the button '' then click on required musics.
Click on 'Convertir ' and process begins.
Converted musics will be in the file which you chose in 'Options / Shape', thumb-index 'names of files'. By default, this file is 'my Documents / MP3'.
During the selection of musics, press on the key ' Ctrl ' at the same time as you click on tracks. In that way, you can choose any musics (in a discontinuous way) there only once.
By default,
CDEX creates a
playlist who accompanies converted musics. If this one is useless to you, go to 'Options / Shape' and in the thumb-index 'Names of files', shoot 'Create a
PLAYLIST M3U '.
