Nero has a practical tool to create cases fast for CD and to make them so nicer.

Create a case

Throw Nero Cover Designer 'to Start All programmes / / Ahead Nero / Nero Cover Designer'.

'Local ' go to 'Queues / Preferences' and in the thumb-index, choose the language ' French '. It will be needed is possible be to close all documents opened in Nero Cover Designer to be possible change the language.


In the launching of software or during 'File / New', it is necessary to choose the type of case to be accomplished. She can correspond to a normal boitier, a boitier maxi, a fine boitier...


It is possible to work on 4 zones: face before the boitier, internal booklet, face delays of the boitier, the CD...


With 'File / to Safeguard (pence)', the current case is recorded.

When the case is ended, it is possible to have an outline with 'File / Outline before impression'. During an impression ('File / Impression'), it is possible to choose elements to print (booklet, CD) in the thumb-index ' Eléments '.

Tools to change his case

The toolbar to the left allows to accomplish all desired actions.

- 1: selection tool. - 2: draw a line. - 3: draw a rectangle. - 4: draw a circle. - 5: insert a text zone. - 6: create a text according to a graphic style. - 7: tool to list tracks. - 8: tool for directories. - 9: insert a picture. - 10: insert a field.

It is possible to double-click most objects inserted in cases. They achieve so some properties which depend on components:

• In 'Plume ', colour and breadth of the border supervising the element are chosen.
  
  
• In 'Brush ', thorough colour is chosen.
  
  
• 'Pictures ' allows to put a picture in the background.
  
  
• In the thumb-index 'text Box', they type the desired text as in a text editor.
  
  
• Point out: the button means 'No ' as any border or melts any for example. Click on the button to speed up or to deactivate corresponding property.

To insert a picture, use the button n°9 (see above). A right click on a picture then on 'Effects ' allows to change brightness, contrast of the picture.


Use the following buttons to put in the first / behind plan of elements. It is also possible to put together (to gather) or to dissociate objects.

Create the list of the contents of the CD

To create easily the list of the contents of the CD, insert the object 'List of Tracks'.

Double-click the object and go to the thumb-index 'Pistes ' to change options concerning the display of pieces (colour, size, information to be shown).


Go then to 'Given / Given relating to the document'. Click on 'Given Audio'. Use 'Add a track' and fill fields: Name, Length, Author...


Click on 'Ok ' when all tracks were added. The component 'List of Tracks' shows from now on the contents of your CD.
