If you have the CD of installation of Nero, it is possible to accomplish a test on the quality of the CD-ROM readers during music extraction. |
To accomplish this test, insert the CD of installation of
Nero in your reader and throw software.
You must extract the audio track n°2 from the CD of
Nero with 'Engraver / to Safeguard Track'. For it, consult the page:
Extract tracks from has with Nero CD.
Make File then '/ New' and choose the creation of a CD - AUDIO. CD Is not going to be engraved, it is only means of access in desired options.
In the explorer of files, choose the track before extracted and move it on the CD, as though they engraved.
Double-click this track to show a new window. Go, in the thumb-index 'Index, Borders, Separation'. Use the button 'Agrandir ' for
zoomer on visualisation.
Result of the test: the reader is good quality yes:
- the upper line (left surrounding wall) is regular and straight (a type of regular zigzag).
- the lower line (right surrounding wall) is perfectly horizontal.
Repeat this operation to different from reading speed (during extraction) to see up to which level the reader extracted correctly musics.
