However this requires an equipment pushed enough to support at the same time broad libraries of sounds, many effects calculated real-time, quality recording... The production chain must be the most consistent of the capture of the sound in its restitution by way of the suffered treatments.

Operating system

Model: VISTA 64 bits PRO The operating system in 64 bits allows to use more of 3,25Go random access memory, maximum border on systems 32 bits. A BONE 64 bits is an indisputable advantage when it is a question of exploiting a shape at the farthest.

Card mother

Model: ASUS P5E The choice of the card mother depends partly on the processor which they want to use. You should be necessary not neglect the possibilities of future evolutions (numbers of slots PCI, from RAM).

Processor

Model: INTEL Q6600 Quad Core allows to paralléliser the data processing by CPU. If they are entirely exploited by software (such as Cubase 4), they allow to win a considerable time.

Random access memory

Model: CORSAIR 8GO (4x2Go) Vista 64 bits allows from now on to exploit more of 3,25Go random access memory. The card mother is here in its maximum with 8Go in 4 hair slides of 2Go. RAM is a necessary element to load sounds banks and to allow so a bigger use suppleness.

Hard disks

Surrounding walls

Model: M-AUDIO AV40 The more surrounding walls are said "neutral", the more they restore the sound such as it was recorded and worked without any embelissement. They allow so to accomplish an objective sound mixing. AV40 is not entirely neutral, far needs, but are a good compromise between quality and price.

Helmet

Model: BEYER DYNAMIC DT770 PRO 250 Ohms Even if the job in the helmet is often prohibited by the purists of sound mixing, it remains nevertheless that some defects agree only under the helmet (parasitic, wrong notes). And if they want not to bother his neighbours, useless to invest in studio surrounding walls.

Blender

Model: EDIROL M-10MX It is about what it is possible to call "Mixette", a baby banks on sound mixing which notably allows to gather several audio signals in entrance (card sound, guitar) to sort for mailing it towards surrounding walls.
